Writing

This section is dedicated to in-depth writing projects, namely books that I've started writing and would like to someday finish. You'll find parts of these books, information on my main projects, and updates on their eventual completion.

Rise of a Warrior Banner.jpg

Jonathan Davidson is a seventeen year old teenage boy who struggles with the stress of graduating high school, finding a job, dealing with girl issues, and above all, grief from losing his mother. Terrified of the world outside high school and not ready to move on from his mother's death, the last thing he wants is a 'normal' life. But when he is mistakenly sent off without warning to Australia for a crime he didn't commit, Jon begins to see himself used in ways he never before imagined. Realizing he should have been more careful what he wished for, he now joins two bogan brothers on the adventure of a lifetime, desperately trying to find why he was forced ten thousand miles from home, what purpose he has here, and above all, trying to make it home again.

100 Ways to Avoid Writing Your Term Pape

Ever wondered what it's like to write a 25 page term paper in 12 hours? Leave it the master procrastinator to show you exactly how to end up at a point so desperate that your roommates have to barricade you in your room so you finish on time. See, writing a paper on Mao Zedong's popularity throughout the Cultural Revolution is as terribly boring as it sounds, and I for one find it extremely difficult to keep any semblance of concentration when forced to work on such assignments. So I began to compile a list of 100 different distractions, believe it or not, as a distraction from my paper. But, this is more than a simple pen and paper list of boredom-killers. It's an intimate portrait of four years of college: adventures, friendships, struggles, and mischief over four years at three different universities. It's the growth of a boy into a man, the relationships that guided me, the ideas that inspired me, and, of course, all the alcohol we consumed.

Ways to procrastinate including but certainly not limited to-
  • Going Dumpster Diving

    • Working Out

  • Making a Grilled Cheese

    • Having Karaoke Night

  • Yelling at the Mayor

    • Proving your Masculinity

  • Riding a Camel

    • Drinking Milk

  • Taking a Nap

    • Launching a Crusade

  • Proving the Earth is Round

    • and so much more!
